First EGR’s women’s bowling team continues season
As the bowling season continues, both the men and women’s team continue their losing streak. Wins remain low, but spirits remain high. Both teams played Grand Rapids Christian Feb. 6, and both lost; however certain individuals scored their personal best. Nada Aouad ’17, member of the women’s team, bowled a 158, a record high for her. The women’s team has been improving each game, with Guilia Amati ’17 scoring a personal best 123 last week, and Hallie Butterer ’17 bowled 164 against Unity Christian Feb. 8. Justine Banbury ’17 scored a record high for the team at 183 also against Unity Christian. The team has two more matches coming up as the season comes to a close, as well as two tournaments, including the OK Gold/Green Conference.
