Diversity survey results now displayed on website

The East Grand Rapids High School Champions of Diversity team has created a website that highlights the results of surveys taken earlier in the year.

The student survey asked questions about student safety, perceptions about diversity and inclusion, as well as incidents of bullying.

Biology teacher Jeff Webb and English teacher Tommy Kawel created the survey in order to gauge the climate and culture at East.

The results will be used to get a “snapshot” assessment of students’ and teachers’ perceptions at our school.

Through further analysis, the team wants to develop initiatives to better the climate and community.

The results can be viewed here.
