The holidays are coming up fast, and that means that the annual orchestra concert is just around the corner. Ugly sweaters and Christmas music is what everyone is looking forward to at the end of school in 2017. Dan DeLano ‘20 is a bass player in the orchestra. He says he is excited for the concert because “I love Christmas music and we’re playing a couple of fun pieces.” Mrs. Hillyard and everyone else have been working hard to present the best concert they can.
The orchestra is also looking forward to seeing the other musicians play. “I look forward to listening to what the band has been working on, and collaborating with them on sleigh ride.”
The members of the orchestra are very committed to giving East the best Christmas concert they can. “A huge part of my life is making music. Playing the bass is relaxing, yet also challenging and I appreciate that.”
