Wok on over to Wok & Mortar

After hearing about the new Asian restaurant that was coming to EGR, I decided to see what all the buzz was about and try it myself.

The restaurant has a very welcoming and energetic vibe and the workers were very friendly. I like how convenient and easy the restaurant is. They provide a cell phone charging station and the food is quick so people can grab their food and go.

You can build your own bowl of asian food and choose from a variety of toppings and rice. They have a step-by-step menu where you can choose how you want your food prepared, what protein you want, and what toppings you want. They also have different kinds of sushi and soup that you can choose from, along with special dishes such as wings, asian street fries, spanish pad thai, and ramen.

I ordered the orange glazed chicken with rice and thought it tasted pretty good. They came in a bowl and had a good portion.

Overall, I think the restaurant is the perfect place for high schoolers to walk to lunch. It’s a great location and they provide an ideal variety of dishes, so that anyone can find something they enjoy.
