Proud moments for boys lacrosse

Even with the bad weather at the beginning of the spring, the boys lacrosse team has shown talent through sleet and snow. The boys lacrosse team has been playing back-to-back games in order to be able to keep up with the delays. With hard work daily and a very tough schedule, the boys are determined to win. Even at the beginning of the seasons, the boys have a lot to be proud of. Colorado College commit Jacob Rogers ‘18 talks about what he thinks is the team’s proudest moment so far this season.

“One of the proudest moments this year is how the team responded after we lost to FHC. I think the team this yearis supper accountable, everyone shows up to practice early to go on team runs and we all bring 110% to practice everyday. We know that is what it will take to get us back to the state championship game in June.”

Since there are more tough teams to beat ahead in their schedule, the boys are ready to make some changes to improve their game and keep up with the competition.

“As a whole, our team needs to work on our goal scoring in order to beat other teams,” said Colin Stecco ‘19.

Overall, the lacrosse team should be very proud of their successful start to the spring season. As the weather continues to get better, we can only hope that the boys can improve upon the talent within their team that they already have.
