One yearly tradition is the choir holiday concert.

The holiday season starts very early for the Madrigals, the highest choir class in the school.

“Our process for the holiday season is that we learn a number of songs for a large concert we put on and then we learn the rest of our traditional caroling songs,” said Nick Merritt ‘20.

The seasonal holiday concert is put on every year and includes musical numbers from the orchestra, and all of the different choirs.

“Some traditions that we do is that we dress up in those special suits and dresses that you see every year for the concert. And another one of our traditions is that we go out caroling with the rest of the class” said Merritt.

Madrigals is a very special class because it is smaller and you have to audition to get into the class.

“The best part of being in madrigals is the people in the class because it is a smaller class so you get to know the people pretty well, and it is a fun social class,” said Merritt.

The holiday season is approaching, as well as the renowned holiday concert.
