“This situation has definitely made me rethink my priorities in life. I’ve realized that I don’t need to be traveling every weekend for sports, studying 24/7, and sacrificing family time or hobbies to feel productive. I’ve always loved things like reading and music, so this lockdown has been a blessing in disguise. Recently, I’ve spent so much time reading books, playing instruments, and spending time with my family, which makes me understand that you don’t need to be constantly on the go to feel accomplished. My family is always extremely busy, and we looked at the calendar and realized this is the most time we’ve spent together, all five of us, since we moved to Michigan, which is crazy to think. So while I might be missing social interactions and venturing out of my house, quarantine has really helped me realize what matters to me”
