The East Vision is a monthly, non-profit newspaper produced solely by the East Grand Rapids High School Journalism II class, and is distributed free to students and faculty. The paper also distributed through East Grand Rapids to families and businesses who subscribe. Our devoted class of writers currently produces and distributes 1400 copies of The Vision, 250 of which are mailed to subscribers. Like many others we have joined the swift paced and regularly changing world of social media to further inform our following. This allows for the general population of EGR and surrounding areas to receive the most up-to-date and accurate news and advertisements.

The East Vision sells advertising to an array of local and statewide businesses and organizations. These generous donors not only receive ad space in a newspaper sent nationwide, but also gain the greater recognition and loyalty of our subscribers. Some donors promote their daily lunch and students specials bringing more students and potentially family into the fine establishment.
