Sarah, sometimes called Slinky, is the paper’s lead editor. Each month, you can see Sarah’s amazing work on the front page, and page 4, which Sarah designs. Sarah is a spunky and talented writer, but also brutally honest to the point where she could make you cry. If you see someone in a hoodie and wide-leg sweatpants, it’s probably Sarah. Aside from being a passionate and dedicated writer, Sarah’s favorite hobby is swimming. She’s one of the superstar swimmers, and you can often find her swimming the 200 free, 100 fly, 200 free A relay, and the 400 free A relay. Although she mainly swims these four events, she still worries about what she will swim at the state meet. Sarah can also be found serving the meat at barn weddings across West Michigan, pulling up her 2006 Green Honda Pilot she still doesn’t know how to park. If Sarah isn’t at the pool, you can probably find her on the pickleball courts at Cascade Country Club, hanging out with her best friends Luci and Gracie, or at her house being very studious. Sarah can often be heard singing and pretending to be a Madrigal, and saying absolutely rancid things.
