Erin Smith and Sam Longstreth set to emcee Variety Show this weekend
Every year, East Grand Rapids High School students showcase their creativity and talents in the always entertaining variety show.
Auditions took place on January 16th and 17th and were held by Mr. Kawel who runs the show.
“I tried out by myself in front of Mr. Kawel and Tyler Roberts and they told me after I sang that I’m in it and should just practice a little more,” Jonathan Yepez 18’ said. There are always a very wide range of different types of talents students choose to showcase.
“I will be singing and playing the guitar with Natalie Regan, but since I tried out alone we have to try out again together. I think we sound really good together and am excited to see how it turns out,” Yepez 18’ said.
The variety show will be held in the Performing Arts Center on March 3rd and 4th at 7:30 p.m. both nights, so come out and support your fellow classmates.
