Eli Huey
Eli Silas Huey, finally a senior, is the best goalkeeper East Grand Rapids Varsity soccer team has ever seen. He is willing to take cleats right into the face for his team, forfeit the favor of wearing the bumblebee jersey and even sweats enough to fill an olympic size swimming pool. He is extremely competitive in basketball and is never afraid to get physical in the paint, whether he is playing for the rumble tumblers, or against random men at MVP pick up games. He would be instantly found by the monsters in “A Quiet Place” because of how loud he clears his throat which is unfortunate for him. Outside of sports, Eli can be found reciting the constitution for his various political clubs, which at this point have made him a future senator. Eli hates the Crimson Tide almost as much as he hates a dreary Monday in january. In his free time, Eli likes to play ps4 and hang out with friends. He loves to physically abuse everyone else in pool basketball and always seeks out backyard bonfires where he shows everyone his angelic singing voice. However, this angelic voice came to him with years of singing in choir and listening to Rex Orange County. For money, Eli works at the best barbeque restaurant in all of west Michigan, Mission BBQ. After work, he feeds his carnivorous greyhound, Eclipse, brisket, pork, and steak which helps him run even faster.
