Luci Perez-Simons, Editor-in-Chief
Last year Luci Perez Simons’s bio described the many activities that she was involved in. Everything was included last year except her true desire to be editor-in-chief…her psyche was a dangerous landscape that not even the bravest soldiers (Sarah Lincolnhol) wanted to traverse. Luckily for her (and her friends) Luci managed to secure her position as our fearless editor-in-chief. Besides being editor-in-chief Luci still spends her time at the pool doing distance practices for her future 500 races and serves up BBQ to hungry wedding parties for Mission BBQ weddings. Luci has also been building her style over the last few years and really has been embodying what it means to be “an indie sleaze” (definition still unclear to most). As of right now, her ideal day would begin with her getting a venti pumpkin cream cold brew with 40 grams of sugar that she stands by isn’t a milkshake, (she’d probably get Starbucks a few more times in that day), she’d open her snap to interact with her most recent human male embodiment of a coatrack with the only qualifications needed for them to be on her “roster” being that they attend Michigan, and she’d finish this day off by sending her friends painfully unfunny Young Sheldon memes, a show she has never watched before. Nonetheless, Luci is a true friend and a crucial asset to the success of our paper.
